My Name is khan : Apology for what? : Shahrukh Khan
After the actor was shown the non support for screening his film’ My Name Is Khan’ in Mumbai, Nashik Thane etc, due to his comments for the support for the Pakistani players who were unanimously dejected by all team owners of the IPL, there were reports that unless SRK apologized to the Shiv Sena his films will not be allowed to be screenedin Mumbai.
SRK, who was quiet all the while in spite of so many out bursts against him, did come out with what was on his mind on Monday. He was heard saying that what ever he had commented on the Pakistani players was said as a responsible citizen of India and he did not want to upset or hurt anyone’s feelings.
He also further went on to say that since he belonged to a free and democratic country, he had said what he thought was right and so he would not go and apologize to anyone regarding the voicing of his thoughts on the inclusion of the Pakistani players in the IPL teams.
