BJP Leaders enjoyed Shahrukh’s My Name Is Khan
While the Shiv Sena and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) threaten to disrupt the release of Shah Rukh Khan’s film My Name Is Khan, some BJP members watched it at a special screening in New Delhi on Friday evening.
Shah Rukh Khan has been the Shiv Sena’s latest target with Sainiks tearing down posters of his latest film My Name Is Khan and asking Mumbaikars to boycott the film because the actor spoke out for inclusion of Pakistani cricket players in the IPL.
Not only from BJP, leaders from other political parties too watched the movie, ‘My Name Is Khan’. BJP leaders said that politics and films should be kept separate and any unnecessary controversy should be avoided.
“Politics and films should be kept separate. It’s an unnecessary controversy. There is no need for all this,” said former cricketer and BJP leader Chetan Chauhan.

Dear SRK, Your pro-Pak comments were ill timed. I am a fan of yours and this incident has embarrassed me. I live overseas for over a decade now and from my interactions with moderate and progressive Indians overseas and within India, I think there’s an over whelming disappointment and disapproval of your pro-Pak stance. We all want India to enjoy long term peace with Pak and other countries, but only when they give up their open support for anti-Indian Jehad. Pls reconsider your stance dear SRK.

Dear Shahrukh Khan, I hate the people who classify the nations, races and religon. you were absoulutly right about the Pakistani Players because you were not talking about pakistan specifically but about the talented players. you have got hell alot of your movie supporters in Paksitan. you are not only star of India but you are the star of hearts every. shiv sehna or what ever his name has penut size memory ignore him because if you notice him he will become popular that what he want.
at the end of the good luck to your movie my name is khan. i am very much keen to watch it here in London. and good luck to Karan Johar as well.
